Very elegant tray decorated with a tea house bordered by a river within a landscape of mountains with cranes in flight. The plate is entirely covered with gold lacquer with different techniques of flattening (fundame) and gold reliefs (hira and taka maki-e) and inclusion of gold leaf (kirikane). The back of the tray is entirely covered with gold and silver powder (nashiji) and has 4 feet. The tray is surrounded by silvered shibuichi. Some wear and misses of kirikane visible in the photos.
