Of very beautiful craft it is composed of 2 parts of Japanese lacquered doors with gold and polychrome lacque of a floral decoration. With functional lock and key. A golden dragon with a menacing look comes from a niche at the top of the furniture while another is wrapped around a foot that makes the connection in both parts. The entire cabinet is finely carved. 2 drawers mark the junction with the lower part where there is a shelf acting as a spacer. Although not signed the quality of this piece of furniture allows an attribution to the workshops of the famous cabinetmaker Gabriel Viardot. Origin: France. Period: late 19th century. Dimensions: 97x44xH170cm.(38"x17"xH67").
