A most elegant French 19th century, ormulu and brèche de Saint Maximin marble gueridon.
The circular table is raised by fine fitted topie shape sabots below circular tapered fluted legs with superb fitted foliate chandelles and molted top caps.
The friezes are decorated with striking intricately detailed pierced ormulu mounts with beautiful richly chased floral design framed in a beaded and mottled band.
Inbetween each of them figures a finely detailed mascaron of a bearded men.
Above is the exquisite and original brèche de Saint Maximin marble top.
