Osvaldo Borsani est un architecte et designer italien (1911-1985):
Après des études aux Beaux-arts puis en architecture, il rejoint l’entreprise familiale de son père et crée en 1953 avec son frère la société TECNO spécialisée sur l’innovation et la technologie.Il va y concevoir pendant 30 ans une gamme de mobilier, dont le célèbre fauteuil « P40 lounge » avec ses 486 postures.
Certaines de ses conceptions se trouvent aujourd’hui dans les collections permanentes du MoMA de New York, du Victoria et Albert Museum de Londres et au Centre Pompidou à Paris.

Osvaldo Borsani was an Italian architect and designer born in 1911 and died in 1985.
After studying fine art and architecture, he joined his father’s family business and in 1953, with his brother, set up TECNO, a company specialising in innovation and technology. For 30 years, he designed a range of furniture, including the famous P40 Lounge armchair with 486 different positions.
Some of his creations are now on display in the permanent collections of MoMA in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
