Superb porcelain box, in the Sèvres style, from the period XIXth century, presenting a scalloped shape and a cobalt blue background richly decorated with fine gold gilding.
The lid is decorated with a hand-painted gallant scene, framed with gilded rocaille motifs, while the sides are embellished with landscape medallions. The interior reveals a delicate floral decoration, painted in polychrome.
Gilt bronze frame, with a finely crafted hinge and an elegant clasp.
