This Italian console table in rosewood veneer and flamed mahogany has four tapered octagonal legs with a brass net separating each facet. At the bottom of the legs, lead lion paws rest on a concave entablature for the front where a large drawer is hidden.
On the upper parts of the legs, a gilded lead Egyptian head topped with an Ionic capital supports a box with a discreet drawer integrated into it. Its front and that of the sides of the box are decorated with brass molding separating the light and dark wood species. Above, a large quarter-round molding supports the white Carrara marble top.
This entire console rests on four gilded wooden balls.
