Biography of Denis Jullienne:

Denis Jullienne, a Parisian carpenter, was admitted as a master on July 31, 1775. Probably descended from another Denys Julienne, upholsterer to Louis XIV and the Duke of Burgundy at the beginning of the XVIIIIn the 1805th century, he established himself on Rue de Charenton. Specializing in the manufacture of wooden beds and chairs, he worked for the Presle brothers, renowned merchants, who placed orders with him for the Marquis de Girardin.
