EBERL François, Maurice, Augustin (Pragues 1887, 1962) French – The Lover

Painter of figures, nudes, portraits, compositions.
After travelling extensively, Eberl settled in Paris in 1910.
He was a member of the Salons d’Automne and the Indépendants.
A large gallery of the Fg Saint Honoré welcomed him from 27 to 31 and organized a major retrospective of his work in 1929.
On returning from the Resistance, an exhibition on rue de la Boétie in 1946 and a Fbg St Honoré in 1954 consecrated his talent and his success.
His works are featured in almost all European museums and in numerous collections in Europe.
