Erró, is a postmodern Icelandic artist, born in 1932 in Ólafsvík. He is the co-founder of the pictorial movement of Narrative Figuration in France. He is part of the collections of the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
In 1964, in New York, Erró definitively gave up on inventing personal forms. From images of mass culture, he composed collages which, often enlarged with the help of an episcope or a projector, gave rise to paintings.
In 2010, the Graphic Art Gallery of the National Museum of Modern Art, Paris, presented the exhibition “Erró, 50 years of collages”.
