J.-B. Tilliard, in the style of.

Pair of Louis XV style armchairs in carved and cream lacquered wood resting on four curved legs ending in volutes. Scalloped belt and uprights, armrest consoles slightly set back from the vertical of the foot. Flat back, "à la Reine", with double notch and a central crest decorated in its center with a cartouche with a heart in its center; this motif is also found in the middle of the belt and on the top of the feet. Rococo ornamentation, with flowers and foliage.

Work carried out around 1950 in the style of Jean-Baptiste I Tilliard. Structure in good condition and nice patina of use.

Upholstery, as well as seat cushion and armrest covers, completely reupholstered by our workshops with a fabric from the Rubelli House, reference BACCARAT color ORO. Rubelli is a historic Venetian group of fabric production, whose workshops are in the former Zanchi factory of XIXth century, in Cucciago in Italy. This house produces very high quality fabrics, also used for large works such as for the theaters of La Scala or La Fenice.
