Elegant chest of drawers called Sauteuse from the Transition period, Louis XV-Louis XVI from the 18th century. Stamped Jean POPSEL JME received Master in 1755.

In rosewood and amaranth marquetry, the drawers are inlaid with geometric patterns in stained wood.
The pull handles are original in gilded bronze as well as the belt frieze and the sabots which adorn the feet.

Its top is covered with a white veined grey marble called “Sainte-Anne” marble resting on bevelled uprights.
Jean POPSEL was born in 1720 of German origin, he was received as a Master in 1755, he is the author of many exceptional pieces of furniture.
