Napoléon III Silver & Crystal WINE DECANTER or Claret Jugantique French hallmarked sterling silver & cut glass ornate with rococo style base & scrolling handle, floral accented collar and that stunning spiral fluted glass or crystal body, most likely Baccarat!All of the separate silver parts bear the French Minerva or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number “1” within those marks means they are in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for “sterling” silver). Rocaille encircling the silver base, the handle in the form of sinuous scrolls! The body is crystal with a spiral extending from the bottom of the neck to the sterling footed base.
