Pair of low Louis XV style basket-shaped armchairs in carved and gilded wood resting on four small, slightly curved legs decorated with cartouches and ending in volutes. Scalloped belt decorated in its center with flowers and foliage.
Armrest consoles above the foot decorated with large acanthus leaves. Full armrests finished with acanthus leaves.
Basket-shaped backrest, divided into three parts by molded, scalloped uprights decorated with leaves, volutes and a central motif of flowers and foliage.
Red silk trim by Rubelli, reference BARBARIGO, CORALLO color, with leafy scroll patterns, decorated with a braid of similar color. Rubelli is a historic Venetian fabric production group, whose workshops are in the former Zanchi factory of the XIXth century, in Cucciago in Italy. This house produces very high quality fabrics, also used for large works such as for the theaters of La Scala or La Fenice.
