This decorative pair of finely chiseled, patinated, and gilded bronze candlesticks stands out for its elegance. These candlesticks feature a beautiful fluted decoration on the stems, and a circular base with a frieze of flowers on a guilloché background bordered by a frieze of stars and gadroons, demonstrating remarkable craftsmanship.
Made in France during the Empire period, circa 1805-1815, these candlesticks perfectly illustrate the style and quality of this period. Their refined design and meticulous detailing make them ideal pieces to enhance any elegant interior.

Height with lampshade: 47 cm.

In very good condition, these candlesticks feature beautiful gilding with some slight wear that adds to their authentic charm. They have been converted into lamps and are adorned with superb new yellow silk shades with gilded interiors.
