An elegant pair of candlesticks mounted as lamps, in finely chased, patinated and gilded bronze, the shafts fluted, the shafts resting on circular bases with friezes of flowers on a guilloche background bordered by a frieze of stars and gadroons.
Beautiful French work from the Empire period circa 1810.

In good condition. Electrification to European standards and possibility of upgrading to American standards.
These candlesticks have been mounted as lamps without drilling and receive a pair of yellow and gold silk lampshades.
