Very beautiful pair of Athenian-shaped incense burners, in blue Turquin marble and chiseled and gilded bronze.
The basin is decorated with gilded bronze musicians, it rests on a tripod base decorated with gilded bronze chimeras.
An original Louis model XVI by Gouthière is exhibited at the Louvre Museum.
