This is a beautiful and decorative pair of molded and carved walnut dressing or powder chairs. They are distinguished by their flat, arched backs, elegantly curved at the top, as well as their wide, comfortable seats.
Italian armchairs of this quality are rare on the antiques market and will appeal to collectors and furniture enthusiasts. XVIIIth century. These pieces bear witness to superb Italian work characteristic of the first third of the XVIII1720st century, around 1730-XNUMX.

Our armchairs are in good overall condition. They were restored in our workshops, where interior belt reinforcements were added. The antique webbing trim and horsehair padding were recently redone. This pair of armchairs is upholstered in a beautiful woven jacquard with floral motifs in red, pink, and gold.
