Pair of antique armchairs, Louis style XVI, in carved gilded wood. Queen model, with a back with beveled corners decorated with pearl friezes and flanked by detached columns with Ionic capitals, topped with dice with rosettes and cassolettes.
Beautiful armrest consoles in the shape of a fluted baluster. Curved seat with a belt decorated with interlacing friezes and superimposed water leaves, supported by fluted truncated cone legs ending in a spinning top. Cream-colored upholstery, decorated with bouquets of geometric flowers and plants in blue and red tones, evoking traditional Scandinavian embroidery.
Work done circa 1880.
