Pair of gondola-shaped armchairs in black lacquered wood with gold highlights in the style of Maurice Dufrêne (1876-1955).
They rest on two grooved ogive front legs and two small sabre-shaped rear legs. Backrest surrounded by a round section molding with sculpted plant motif decorations on the top of the backrest and volutes on the armrest consoles.
Red velvet trim.
Model inspired by the creations of the famous French cabinetmaker and interior designer Maurice Dufrêne, co-founder in 1902 of the Société des Artistes Décorateurs.
Work dating from the Art Deco period, circa 1920-1930. Restored in our workshops.
