Black marble and gilt bronze portico clock with two columns resting on feet in the shape of lions' paws, surmounted by antique vases in white marble. Garlands of flowers, pearls, chains and stylized bird heads adorn the clock. A reclining lion is in the center of the terrace. Inscription on the dial at the bottom center "A Paris". Dial signed "Dubuisson", the enameler listed in the "Dictionary of French Watchmakers" by Tardy, p. 193.
