The decor is made of a violet wood veneer called “butterfly wing”.

When the flap opens, it reveals the paper holder made up of compartments and six small drawers with a curved front.

The flap is topped with a cove drawer.

The secretary is topped with a marble molded from a corbin in Rance from Belgium.
