Erró, est un artiste islandais postmoderne, né 1932 à Ólafsvík. Il est le cofondateur du mouvement pictural de la Figuration narrative en France. Il fait partie des collections du Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
En 1964, à New York, Erró renonce définitivement à inventer des formes personnelles. À partir d’images de la culture de masse, il compose des collages qui, souvent agrandis à l’aide d’un épiscope ou d’un projecteur, donnent lieu à des tableaux.
En 2010, la Galerie d'art graphique du Musée national d'art moderne, Paris, présente l’exposition "Erró, 50 ans de collages".

Erró, is a postmodern Icelandic artist, born in 1932 in Ólafsvík. He is the co-founder of the pictorial movement of Narrative Figuration in France. It is part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris. In 1964, in New York, Erró definitively gave up trying to invent personal shapes. From images of mass culture, he composes collages which, often enlarged using an episcope or a projector, give rise to paintings. In 2010, the Graphic Art Gallery of the National Museum of Modern Art, Paris, presented the exhibition "Erró, 50 years of collages".
