Charles Nicolas ODIOT - Important tea / coffee service in sterling silver in 19th century chest
Important solid silver coffee tea service finely chiseled in rococo style with a decoration of foliage, acanthus and cartridges on a mat background. The spouts represent dolphins and the grips of flowery and foliage bouquets. It is composed of a sumptuous tray with handles, a samovar on its support, a coffee maker, a teapot, a sugar bowl, and a tea box.
All of these pieces are inserted in an oak chest lined with ruby red velvet, the lock of which is signed:
"A. Gouverneur, Gaisnier, 37 Quai de l'Horloge in Paris"
