A very handsome and high quality French Louis XVI St. kingwood ormulu and black Japanese lacquer one door meuble d’appui. The meuble à hauteur d’appui is raised on topie shaped feet with ormulu top cap flanking the fine central foliate orumulu mount. At the center is a striking and wonderfully executed Japanese lacquered panel of a figural landscape framed within a charming straight ormulu band. Each corners displays elegant foliate scrolled mounts in addition to the most decorative pierced and richly chased central band with a floral intertwined design. Above the is the beautifull and original grey Turquin marble top with molted borders.
