A striking French 19th Century Louis XVI St. giltwood Bergères.
The armchair is raised by six circular tapered fluted legs below fine block rosettes.
Extending along the frieze are impressive and wonderfully carved interlocking patterns centering a floral reserve in a satin and burnish finish.
Each elegantly curved arm displays an upholstered arm rest while the back support displays a carved twisted ribbon band and fine floral carvings above.
